Search engine usage statistics shows 55 to 59 percent of the users use Google search and also one or two most popular search engines like Yahoo and Lycos. Nearly 72 percent of the internet searchers use Yahoo and 70 to 75 percent of the users use the MSN search engine. The queries for Google are marked as 1.86 billion. The second search engine is Yahoo with 20 percent of over all searches and its queries is registered as 855 million. Next to Yahoo is the MSN search engine, which came third place with 12 percent of searches and its queries are marked as 510 million. Search engine usage statistics show that most of the search engine users collect their information within the result of the very first search result page. Nearly 61.5 percent of search engine users perform their searchers in this way.
