Drug usage is a big problem and it even affects those who are not directly related to it. To protect your children and help them lead a drug-free life, the best way is to involve them in a drug education program. Statistics shockingly reveal that usage of drugs like cocaine is widespread in America.

Cocaine is a type of drug which is derived from the cocoa plant leaf. This comes in the form of a powder and is white in color. It is also referred to by the names snow, flake, stardust etc… There is a derivative of Cocaine which is the crack cocaine. So, the U.N office of drugs and crime decided to treat this as cynicism since they are politically titled rather than the scientific survey's results.

In U.K, there is a national survey of adults named British Crime Survey. The BCS deals directly with the crime related topics and also it has comparable section of questions on Cocaine drug use. The British Crime Survey recently reported a statistics of Cocaine usage among 15 to 60 years old in England. The annual prevalence of Cocaine drugs was 2.4% last year and it goes to 7.2 % during their lifetime. The drug Ecstasy, a type of Cocaine prevails 1.6 % last year. Since, this British Crime survey studies only the private households, it provides some inaccurate results. So, BCS sometimes underestimates the overall usage of drugs, mainly Cocaine.

Considering this, It was better to take an estimate of the number of Cocaine intravenous users who were extrapolated from the treatment, police and prison. This statistic result showed a whopping five times higher Cocaine usage than the BCS results covered in the same period of time!

Cocaine usage statistics states that, the estimate was nearly 3,20,2000 and the rate per thousand is nearly 9.90. The crack Cocaine users' statistics go to nearly 1, 90,000, the usage rate being, 5.8. The prevalence of Cocaine in Australia has been low comparing to other countries. But, some Cocaine usage statistics in Australia reports that the usage of Cocaine has been increased among some people, during the unavailability of the popular drug, heroin.
